Noé Sendas' exhibition, entitled ‘... ON THIN ICE’, aims to challenge visitors in the context of installations and previously unseen works that interact with pieces from the museum's collection. The exhibition is constructed in modules that follow one another in the geography of the rooms of the North Wing of the National Museum of Contemporary Art, each of which constitutes a narrative nucleus, a preamble to the following chapter, and so on. The works created by the artist specifically for the exhibition are developed using different techniques and references, as is characteristic of his work, including photography, drawing, collage, projected light, sculpture and, essentially, the gesture that reconfigures the viewer's perception in the fictional relationship with literature, cinema and the history of art present in the works in the museum's collections.
