From José Pedro Cortes exhibition A necessary Realism different times and places inherent to the work of the author and to the creation of the photographic image itself to think the presence of the body and its  various inscriptions will be crossed and debater. Other issues, from the reborn  problematic on realism, also acquire an urgent inescapable character to this exhibition.

SUSANA VENTURA (Coimbra, 1978)

Susana Ventura is educated in architecture (darq-FCTUC, 2003) however she prefers to dedicate herself to curatorship, writing, research, overlapping different fields of knowledge. She enjoys thinking about art, architecture, photography, cinema and dance, experimenting, sometimes in texts, sometimes in exhibitions, other possibilities of thought (thus, she holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy - Aesthetics, under the scientific supervision of José Gil, FCSH-UNL, 2013). She curated“Utopia / Dystopia” (with Pedro Gadanho and João Laia, MAAT, 2017) and “The House of Democracy: between Space and Power” (Casa da Arquitectura, 2018). www.susana-ventura.com
